Welcome back Monday. Beginning of a new chapter. Trying to recover from New York has me with a chest cold and a pile of work on my digital desktop. The Left to Right show that was held on April 11th at the Wooster Social Street Club was cracking. Had cholos dancing. Poppers poppin and eyes in awe with California’s top artists collaged on the walls like a fresh black n grey tattoo. Bobby Ruiz of Tribal Gear and Luke Wessmen were knees and elbows in this till the clock turned 5 pm. Show time. 7:29 pm. People were huddled street side waiting. And at 7:30. The curators of this artshow respectfully brought what was going on in the west to the east coast. C/S. They werent ready. If they were…. the grand opening of the show would of not been an success. It was like a backyard boogie. DJ spinning Zapp to the Notorious B. I. G. Family like Tony Touch of the legendary Rock Steady Crew, Q-Unique, Nicer from Tats Cru, the Hundreds New York and also welcomed with open arms Emilio Rivera. They came out to rep that!!!!The staff and artists at the Wooster street social club showed mad love.
The line up was sick. Heavy hitters like Estevan Oriol, Chuey Quintinar. All I can say is fire!!!!!!! Steve Soto, Franco Vescovi, Carlos Torres and OG Abel. Flakks, Sabina Kelley, Big Checho and the Dead End Brothers were in the house. Should I continue???? All had their life now. Their passion. Their love all displayed to the public to embrace. Words can’t explain……We wanna thank everyone who was involved in it to make this a mark in history. Extra special thanx to @djstackaly on the ones and twos, Dos Equis, Espolon Tequila, and 12oz Prophet for the coverage. Again Tommy Montoya. Tim Hendricks. Luke Wessmen and staff. Gracias por todo. One love. @bigtiny_ui
